We dropped out of school and all walks except the extremely urgent movement. There was no reasonable explanation and the signs weren’t the most typical of otherwise fairly common panosteitis. The visit to the vet ended with consolation and some food supplements, but after three weeks they did not give results.Re-call from veterinarian to veterinarian, with some advising skeletal imaging but at the same time acknowledging that in the event of an identified cause, most likely additional investigations (US, CT…) and any necessary surgery, they will not be able to perform themselves. Calls to advised reputable veterinary clinics were followed by disappointment. The waiting time for examination and imaging is almost much longer than that for humans. Desperate at the news that my puppy’s brother had been limping from the litter for a long time, I started looking for possible quicker solutions, and quite by accident I turned to the breeder of my partner’s lakeland terrier, Mrs. Natalija Gajari, who comforted me that, given all the above, it was probably just panosteitis and immediately referred me to Dogoteka, where they should find a solution to the problem. After the first contact, I was professionally advised to take an immediate x ray, where the cause of the problem would actually be shown, but unfortunately this was not possible immediately. Without a second thought, I immediately ordered the pills and started dosing the puppy. After two days of taking it, I was pleasantly surprised as the intensity of the limping was halved, after a week only this was barely noticeable, and after 14 days no more limping. Slowly, I carefully began to increase the amount of exercise and training daily, so that after about 10 days we reached the maximum, but there were no more problems, and as a precaution we continued taking Proartleg Maxy and will continue for another month. Physically, the puppy reached its maximum load a month after the end of the limping, and there are no problems even after training or long walks over the hills and slopes.
